HTA Scholarship Programs
Providing scholarships annually to high school seniors in Greater Houston
ATTENTION Graduating Seniors!!
ATTENTION Graduating Seniors!! HTA will award $1,000 to $2,500 scholarships to High School Seniors (who are not
attending college on a tennis scholarship) in the Greater Houston area that are entering college and have participated
for at least two years in high school tennis, USTA Texas tournaments, or National Junior Tennis & Learning (NJTL).
Recipients are selected based on academic performance, citizenship and tennis experience. Financial need is a consideration.

PLEASE INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED ITEMS:
- This completed scholarship application form
- Parent/Guardian current year tax return (page 1 and 2 of 1040 only)
- Academic Transcript
- Two letters of recommendation from a teacher, coach or mentor
- List of extracurricular activities, tennis history, community service, and any job experience
- A typed personal statement addressing how the scholarship would benefit you (500 words or less)
- College Admission Letter
- This completed scholarship application form
