Nicholas Kamisar of Sammamish, Wash., and Natalie Johnson of Fontana, Calif., have been named the No. 1 seeds in the men’s and women’s open singles of the 2019 RBC Wealth Management Houston Open, which begins Friday, April 19, at several sites around the city. Lee LeClear Tennis Center, 9506 S. Gessner, is headquarters.
Kamisar is a former Gonzaga University and professional tour player, and Johnson was a member of the Azusa Pacific University tennis team.
Seeded second in the men’s open is Christopher Sioco of Houston. In the women’s open Susana Alcaraz of Houston is No. 2. Finals of both the men’s and women’s open singles finals are Sunday morning at Lee LeClear, with the women at 9:00 and the men at 10:30. A total of 392 players have entered the adult, senior and super senior divisions.

The tournament is presented by the Houston Tennis Association and the Houston Parks & Recreation Department. It is sanctioned by the United States Tennis Association and is a Texas major zone tournament for adults.
In addition to Lee LeClear, sites used for the tournament include Homer Ford and Memorial Park tennis centers, Lost Forest Tennis Club and the Houston Racquet Club.
