Rohith Gajjala of Austin has been named the top seed in the men’s open division of the HTA Senior Major Zone and Adult Open Fall Festival tennis tournament, which will be held October 4-6 at Lee LeClear Tennis Center.
The HTA Super Senior Major Zone tournament will be held at Memorial Park Tennis Center. Juan Lopez of New Caney is the No. 1 seed in the men’s 60 singles.
The tournaments are presented by the Houston Tennis Association and sanctioned by USTA Texas.
No. 1 seeds in the men’s adult and senior divisions are: 4.0—Gregory Brown of Houston; 3.5—Cesar Diaz of Houston; senior men’s 4.0 50s—Carl Bain of San Antonio; senior men’s 3.5 50s—Clyde Lee of Garland; and senior men’s 3.0 50s–Al Gaidys of Porter.
Katie Beatty is the top seed in the women’s 4.0 division, and Tami McQuhae of Allen is No. 1 in women’s 3.5 singles.
Other top seeds in the super senior singles are: 65s—Carl Morris of Austin; 70s—Daniel Boone of Corpus Christi; and 75s—Paul Smith of Pflugerville.
