The USTA adult league program turns 35-years-old in 2015. When it began in 1980, there were 13,000 registered players. The program has grown now to over 868,000 players nationally and, of the USTA's 17 Sections, Texas has the fourth-largest base with over 62,000 unique players in 2014.
