Kristian Rodriquez of Houston and Yamilet Castillo of Katy have been named the top seeds in the men’s and women’s open divisions of the Westside Lexus and Northside Lexus HTA Senior Major Zone and Adult Open Fall Festival tennis tournaments, which begins September 28.
Matches will be held at Memorial Park and Homer Ford tennis centers and Lost Forest Tennis Club.
The super senior major zone tournament begins Thursday, September 28, at Memorial Park. Gerald Lee of Humble is the No. 1 seed in the men’s 55 singles.
The tournaments are presented by the Houston Tennis Association and sanctioned by USTA Texas.
No. 1 seeds in the men’s adult and senior divisions, which begins September 29, are: 4.5—Husain Virani of Richmond; 4.0—Thurston Woods of Houston; and 3.5—GJ Flores of Mansfield.
Mary DeForke of Houston is the top seed in the women’s 4.0 division.
Other top seeds in the super senior singles are: 60s—William Koster of Texas City; 65s—Carl Morris of Austin; 70s—Hugh Burris of Friendswood; and 75s—William Koziol of Hewitt.
