HOUSTON (Jan. 30, 2009)--New officers and board members for the Houston Tennis Association were elected for 2009.

Harold Graham was elected president, with Randy Ortwein serving as vice president, Claire Goosey as secretary and Sandy Young as treasurer.

Board members who will serve for three years are Denny Dantimo, Sharon Evans, Brian Goonan, William Harmon, Betsie Hollis, Dave Noble and Chuck Stasny.

Continuing for either one or two more years of service are Jason Freeman, Brian Goldberg, Joanne Hresko, Ville Jansson, Maryann Padilla, Colleen Rejcek, Beatriz Rodriquez, Craig Smyser, Sue Sylvester, Peter Talosig, Bev Taylor, Allen Teague, Fred Viancos and Karen Vieira.

Sammy Giammalva, Jr., Giammalva Racquet Club, is the pro advisor. Retiring president William Mao becomes a member of the advisory board.
